Characteristics: The Onagra or primula (Oenothera biennnis L.) it is an American’s especial vegetable. The oil is extracted from seeds using a pressure cold process. The oil is formed for special fatty acids , especially cis-linoleico, cis-gamma-linolénico and oleico. Essential fatty acids are important for the body as they constitute membrane phospholipids and precursors of different cellular mediators, such as prostaglandins, thromboxanes and leukotrienes.
